What is being read, and the curve and primaries it was written with. Everything downstream is decided from these.

A stop is a factor of two before the curve, not after it. It moves which part of the curve the scene lands on.

Seven, where the page offered nine. The two named BT.2446 were a gamma-domain scale and a Reinhard, and both crushed mid-grey to black — they are in Operators, shown for what they were.

After the curve, in the working space. The luminance these mix toward is the working space’s own now, not Rec.709’s — and the hue control rotates hue, which it did not.

Bradford between the white points. The out-of-gamut mark is a real overlay now: the pipeline always computed the flag, and only the checkbox that would paint it was never read.

Two controls, because they are two quantities. One slider was both — and below 201 nits it silently substituted 1000 for whatever it read.

Two are kept in the list because a saved link still names them, and because what they did is worth being able to see.

Mid-grey is where a tone map is judged: an operator that moves 0.18 a long way has changed the exposure of the picture, not just its highlights.

Curve domain

Scene values run past 1. A curve drawn only to 1 hides the part that decides what happens to a highlight.

All of them on one pair of axes, at the peaks the Lab is set to.

What to take

Only the formats that fit the selection are offered. A 1D curve in a 3D cube is 35,937 lines carrying 99 numbers.

Input domain

Written into the file as DOMAIN_MIN / DOMAIN_MAX. The two exporters used to disagree — the CSV swept 0–5 and the cube 0–1, with neither saying so.
