Datasets Measurements you can download, check and cite.

Color accessibility data, measured by the same engine as the site’s tools and published so that anyone can check it: every file is versioned, licensed, described column by column, validated against independent implementations, and comes with a citation.

Standards

What every dataset here comes with

  1. A license. Each states what you may do with it; the first is CC BY 4.0, so you may share and adapt it with credit.

  2. A version and checksums. Files sit under their version number with a SHA-256 for each, so a citation always reaches the same bytes.

  3. A schema. Every column is described, typed and shown with a real value, and a Frictionless Data Package describes the files for tools.

  4. A method. The formulas, their versions, the thresholds and the rounding are stated, with the code that produced the files.

  5. Validation. Values are checked against implementations this site did not write, and the largest difference is published.

  6. A reproducible example. A short program in Python and in JavaScript, run on the file, with the output it printed.
