Key Points
- You retain ownership of content you provide and outputs generated from your inputs.
- Auric Artisan receives only a limited license needed to process inputs and deliver results.
- Generated palettes, themes, reports, exports, and visual assets are generally yours to use, subject to third-party rights.
- Web analysis should be run only on websites, pages, or assets you own or are authorized to test.
- Ishihara-style generators and vision simulations are exploratory tools, not medical diagnostic assets.
- Account, export, portfolio, and billing features do not transfer ownership of your submitted content or generated outputs.
1. User Content and Inputs
+Content you provide to Auric Artisan remains yours. This may include prompts, uploaded files, website URLs, screenshots, page content, palettes, color values, design references, notes, articles, drafts, code snippets, and other materials you choose to submit.
Auric Artisan does not claim ownership of user-provided content. You are responsible for making sure you have the rights or permission needed to submit, analyze, transform, or export that content.
2. Limited Processing License
+By submitting content to the Platform, you grant Auric Artisan a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license only as needed to operate the requested tool or feature. This may include:
- Processing inputs to generate color science results, reports, themes, palettes, simulations, or exports
- Temporarily storing or caching content when required for technical operation, reliability, or abuse prevention
- Displaying results back to you in the interface
- Using aggregated or anonymized technical patterns to improve platform quality
This license does not transfer ownership of your content to Auric Artisan. Where no account or saved-project feature is active, submitted content is intended to be used only for the requested processing flow and related technical safeguards.
3. Generated Outputs and Service-Specific Rights
+Outputs generated from your inputs are generally yours to use, subject to applicable law, third-party rights, and the limits described in this policy. Examples include:
- Color science outputs — palettes, color conversions, model results, visualizations, and exported data
- Theme generation outputs — theme tokens, CSS variables, design palettes, and interface style suggestions
- Web analysis outputs — reports covering security observations, Lighthouse-like performance checks, responsive design notes, accessibility observations, palette extraction, and related findings
- Article and learning resources — content created or exported through available writing, reference, or educational-resource tools
- Vision simulation outputs — visual results created using color vision, perception, and related simulation models
4. Platform Intellectual Property
+Auric Artisan platform code, design systems, interface components, branding, logos, documentation, proprietary workflows, analysis logic, model implementations, and internal systems remain the intellectual property of Auric Artisan or its licensors.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, reverse engineer, scrape, decompile, or create derivative works from Platform intellectual property without written permission, except where allowed by applicable law or an expressly stated open-source license.
5. Open-Source Components
+The Platform may incorporate open-source software components. These components are governed by their own licenses, such as MIT, Apache 2.0, BSD, or similar licenses, where applicable.
Open-source licenses apply only to the specific components they cover. They do not grant rights to Auric Artisan branding, proprietary code, product design, hosted services, or non-open-source platform materials.
6. Exports and User Responsibility
+You are responsible for how you use exported content, including PDFs, reports, images, code snippets, CSS, design tokens, palettes, data files, visual simulations, and generated themes.
Before using exports publicly or commercially, you should check that your inputs and the resulting output do not violate third-party rights, confidentiality obligations, website terms, brand guidelines, or applicable laws.
7. Content Removal and Enforcement
+Auric Artisan may remove, restrict, or refuse to process content that appears to violate this policy, applicable law, intellectual property rights, security rules, or the rights of others.
We may also respond to valid takedown notices, abuse reports, or legal requests. Enforcement decisions may be made without prior notice where needed to protect users, systems, third parties, or the Platform.
8. Third-Party Content, URLs, and Materials
+The Platform may analyze or reference third-party materials, such as websites, fonts, images, libraries, metadata, page assets, and public resources. Such materials remain governed by their own owners, licenses, and terms.
When using web analysis tools, you should submit only websites, pages, files, or assets that you own, manage, or are authorized to test. Web analysis reports are informational and do not transfer any rights in the analyzed website or its assets.
Auric Artisan is not responsible for third-party content accuracy, licensing, availability, or legal status.
9. Changes to This Policy
+This policy may be updated periodically as Auric Artisan adds, removes, or refines tools. Material changes may be communicated through the Platform or related policy pages.
Continued use of available tools after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
