Android Color Int
About Android Color Int
Android's Color methods return a color as a 32-bit int with alpha in the top byte, which Java and Kotlin read as signed, so opaque colors are negative numbers.
How this page writes it
- Reads negative and positive numbers up to 4,294,967,295, and writes the signed form.
Watch for
- Read as unsigned, the same bits are a large positive number; both are the same color.

- Checked with a keyboard, the axe engine and Playwright in Chromium, in light and dark themes at phone and desktop widths. It has not yet been checked with a screen reader.
